General Terms and Conditions and Game Plan
Introductory provisions and definitions
1.1 In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
- Player: An individual who has registered and created a user account on the bwin platform.
- User Account: The account created by the player for the purpose of accessing games and services provided by bwin.
- Deposit: The act of transferring funds into the player's user account for the purpose of participating in gaming activities.
- Win: The amount awarded to the player as a result of successful participation in a game.
- Bet: A sum of money wagered on a game by the player.
- Wagering: The process of placing bets with the funds deposited or bonuses received.
- Bonus: A promotional offer providing additional funds or spins to the player under specified conditions.
Operator and licence
2.1 bwin operates under a basic permit issued by the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic (Ministerstvo financí České republiky, MF ČR) in accordance with Act 186/2016 Coll.
Player registration
3.1 To register as a player, an individual must be at least 18 years old and comply with § 46 of Act 186/2016 Coll.
3.2 The registration process includes verification through the Czech Republic's Register of Inhabitants (RVO) and limits each player to one user account.
3.3 A temporary account must be converted to a full registration within 30 days to continue using the services.
User account
4.1 Players are required to create a user account to access games and services. This account can be suspended or closed by the player or bwin under certain conditions.
4.2 Dormant accounts, with no activity for 12 months, may incur maintenance fees.

5.1 All transactions must be in Czech Koruna (CZK). Cryptocurrency transactions are not permitted.
5.2 Withdrawals will be processed within three business days, in compliance with § 65 of Act 186/2016 Coll.
5.3 3D Secure and PCI DSS security standards apply to all payment methods.
AML and KYC measures
6.1 In compliance with § 41 of Act 186/2016 Coll. and the AML Act 253/2008, bwin implements strict Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures.
6.2 Players must undergo identity verification, Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and Politically Exposed Person (PEP) screening.
6.3 Transaction monitoring and reporting to the Financial Analytical Unit (FAÚ) are conducted as required.
6.4 Records are retained for 10 years in accordance with legal obligations.
Game plan
Slots
7.1 Slots games have a minimum Return to Player (RTP) percentage of 85% as set out in Decree 208/2017 Coll.
Roulette
7.2 Roulette games adhere to a maximum bet limit of 5,000 CZK and a maximum win limit of 500,000 CZK.
Blackjack
7.3 Blackjack games follow a maximum bet limit of 10,000 CZK.
Live Casino
7.4 Games in the live casino section are certified by RNG certification bodies such as GLI, iTech Labs, and BMM.
Sports Betting
7.5 Sports betting is subject to game interruption protocols to ensure fairness.
Bonus terms
8.1 Various bonus types are available, including welcome bonuses, deposit bonuses, free spins, cashback, and reload bonuses.
8.2 Wagering requirements must be met before bonuses are converted to withdrawable funds. For example, a 100 CZK bonus with a 10x wagering requirement needs 1,000 CZK in bets.
8.3 Maximum bet while wagering bonuses is 50 CZK, and bonus validity is typically 30 days.

8.4 Bonus abuse may lead to account suspension and forfeiture of bonuses.

Complaints and dispute resolution
10.1 Complaints must be submitted within 30 days of the incident.
10.2 bwin aims to resolve complaints within 30 days. For unresolved disputes, players can contact the Czech Trade Inspection at Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Praha 2, or via adr.coi.cz, or use the EU ODR platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
10.3 Complaints may also be directed to the Ministry of Finance Czech Republic (MF ČR) or the Specialised Tax Office (SFÚ).
Liability of the operator and the player
11.1 The operator is liable for providing the services as described, while the player is responsible for complying with the terms and conditions set forth.
Taxation of winnings
12.1 Players are responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes on their winnings in accordance with § 10 of Act 586/1992 Coll.
Termination, unclaimed winnings, geographical restrictions
13.1 The agreement between the player and bwin may be terminated by either party. Unclaimed winnings are forfeited after a specified period.
13.2 Service access may be geographically restricted as required by law.

Amendments to these terms

Governing law and jurisdiction
16.1 These terms and conditions are governed by Czech law, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Czech courts.
Final provisions
17.1 These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the player and bwin regarding the use of its services.
